Advocating for Innovation and Inclusion
3 Major Focuses
— Research & Innovation
— Encouraging Neurodiversity
— International Outreach
Theatre has often been a pioneer, at the forefront of stunning immersive performances.
The projects we support include:
- Digital, acoustic and lighting technologies implementation
- Cross disciplinary scenography (singing, original music, visual arts, dance, etc.)
- Bottom-up partnerships with academics and other community organizations (studies, workshops, conferences, etc.)
- Traditional art practices reinvention
Because we know how neuroatypical conditions flourish wonderfully in arts, we are highly involved in recognizing the talents of those who contribute to the richness of our cultural heritage.
Knowing the potential and challenges of people with autism, ADHD or Dys, we provide support with playwriting and producing scholarships, helping them bring their unique artwork to public attention.
We also support projects created, directed and employing neuroatypical artists – and respectful of their identity.
Sometimes inspiration comes from abroad.
It also happens that artists from distant places connect and create together.
We facilitate art practice sharing, and coproductions between theatre companies and artists, in Canada and overseas, by providing human skills through volunteers, as well as equipement and logistical resources.
We are committed to developing a network of sustainable solidarity development.
